Walking In The Light – January 2017 Edition

Walking With Spiritual Authority

Have you ever experienced a battleground that seems like there is no source of hope? You’re not alone. The good news is that we have an all knowing and powerful God that is with us in the midst of battle. To walk in Spiritual Authority, we must put on the Spiritual Armor.  As Christians, we clothe ourselves in armor that is not seen by the natural eye, but it is the very life of Jesus Christ. The Bible instructs us to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Do you realize that we have a King that has never lost a battle? Now that’s an amazing track record for the ages!

PRAYER:
God, in the midst of the battle let my strength come from you. You are my strong tower, my fortress and my refuge in times of trouble. Let me walk with Spiritual Authority knowing that  nothing can stand against you. I have placed Your armor around me so I may walk without fear. I have put on the Belt of Truth, The Breastplate of Righteousness, The Shoes of Peace, The Shield of Faith, The Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit. You have prepared a table for me in the midst of my enemies. Give me the courage to stand in the fire with endurance, patience and confidence that your love conquers all. Amen.

David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.  – 1 Chronicles 28:20 (NIV)

Our battle belongs to the Lord. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Walk in the Spritual Authority that has been given to you.
